Rene Dekker’s renovations will focus on utilizing the hotel’s original features to shape a unique and modern look. The Harwood Hall, previously used by the War Office as a grand chess board, is now a centerpiece of the hotel’s lobby. Its historic stained glass windows, detailed brickwork and marble floors have been carefully restored to its former glory, offering guests a glimpse back in time.
The hotel’s bar has also undergone a contemporary upgrade, now spearheaded by award-winning mixologist Pedro Nobre. Raffles London Hotel has become a renowned hotspot, boasting a new range of vintage-inspired cocktails as well as a sultry live music scene.
