Witness the Drama of Trump’s Georgia Trial on TV – All Eyes Everywhere

As media outlets continue to streamline the political landscape under current events, several trials centered around President Donald Trump have become topics of national interest. One of the most consequential trials to date is currently unfolding in the state of Georgia, as Democrats and Republicans both wage their case for possible voter fraud in the 2020 election. With the state’s historic trial being televised, those less familiar with politics are able to bear witness to the proceedings, while other hearings are hard to find.

The ongoing Georgia trial is just one branch in the larger case that has been put forward by the state’s Republican party. As Democrats and Republicans fight for control in the most populous region of the United States, the trial has become the cornerstone in determining if any actual malfeasance occurred between the two parties, or if this case is more politically driven than anything else.

The Georgia trial has become the ultimate example of the “canary in the coal mine,” as the state is the first to put forth a comprehensive case of election fraud. Already, the state has seen an unprecedented level of media coverage due to its high-stakes entertainment, which stands in stark contrast to other trials going on around the US. In fact, many of the smaller cases have been difficult to follow due in part to the lack of national news coverage. For instance, the state of Arizona is preparing to bring a lawsuit against the state of Nevada regarding several violations of basic electoral law, yet very little press coverage has made its way to those in the know.

At the end of the day, the Georgia trial is likely to be the most important court decision of the year, but some other cases should not be overlooked. As difficult as it may be to learn about smaller trials, access to those proceedings still remains essential in making sure our elections are fair and consistent across the board. With a fair and credible election process, citizens can rest assured that their democratic representation is upheld and that the results of all elections hold proper legitimacy.
