Trailbreaker Resources Inc, a mineral exploration and development company has announced the results of a maiden drill program at its Eakin Creek Property in the south central region of British Columbia. The company was aiming to determine the presence of gold mineralization at the site.
In total, the drill program consisted of six diamond drillholes. All of them were successful in confirming gold mineralization. The intersection of the gold mineralization in the drillholes occurred over an average true width of 9.25 metres.
The company also reported that the highest gold grades in the drill holes were 1.49 g/t and the lowest gold grades in the drill holes were 0.25 g /t. The core samples were taken in intervals of two metres in length.
The drill holes were also found to contain quartz veins, quartz-pyrite veins and stockwork veining, which suggests structural complexity and development of multiple vertical and/or intersecting gold zones.
Trailbreaker Resources Inc. plans to conduct further exploration of the Eakin Creek Property based on these results. Further geological mapping will be done to better determine the size of the gold mineralization zones, while also conducting additional Lithogeochemical analysis and sampling in order to identify potential targets for future drill programs.
The capital raised by Trailbreaker Resources Inc. for the drill program came from a financing round that raised over $5 million. The Eakin Creek Property has the potential to become a major gold producer if the discoveries from these drill programs are found to contain a commercially viable amount of gold.
This drill program marks a major milestone for Trailbreaker Resources Inc. and its shareholders. With further exploration of the Eakin Creek Property, the company has the chance to uncover even more gold and monetize it through mining operations.
