Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSX-V:OM;OTCQX: OMZNF) announced that invigorated success with recent drill results enabling the further delineation of its Pine Point mineralized trend. Located in the Northwest Territories Canada, the project is being designed as an open-pit operation with an average mine life expected to be more than 21 years.
Results from a recent drill campaign demonstrate the primary and a requirement for the expanding mineralized trend at Pine Point. This Includes up to 33.00 metres grading 11.26% zinc and 2.71% lead from hole PPD-119.
The Mineralized trend has been underway since 2017 with over 160 drill holes and 15,000 m of drilling completed to date. The trend extends along 11 kilometres of strike. Results support the successful mining potential of the project. Current estimates by Osisko range the average Reserve base to grade between 5.25% and 5.75% combined zinc and lead.
Osisko has been focused on the feasibility study design and environmental permitting for the Pine Point Project. It is expected they will complete a Feasibility Study in early 2021. The results from this drill campaign have provided a significant boost to Osisko’s stakeholders It demonstrates the expanding nature of the mineralized trend and strengthens the Feasibility Study study that will be available early next year.
