If UAW members do decide to strike, there is bound to be an impact on production of the F-150. Ford has factories located across the United States, many of which produce parts for the F-150. A disruption in parts production could significantly delay production and delivery of the vehicle.
If the strike is prolonged, it could also result in more dire consequences. If the production is delayed long enough, potential buyers could decide to purchase from another brand. While Ford and UAW have yet to come to an agreement, the possibility of a strike is still looming. A strike could cause a disruption in production and delivery of the F-150, which could ultimately lead to lost sales. It is up to both parties to find compromises to ensure production of the very popular F-150 pickup truck is not significantly affected.
