“Joe Biden Earns Big Backs: Latino Outreach Powered Up!”

A new group of deep-pocketed donors, led by former Obama White House staffers, has launched a campaign to reach Latino voters in support of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The organization, called “Latino Vote for Biden,” is utilizing a multi-million dollar budget to reach out to Latino voters and encourage them to participate in the upcoming election. It’s a timely initiative given that Latinos could play a pivotal role in the election’s outcome.

The organization is being co-chaired by former White House staffers Alejandra Ceja, Raul Yzaguirre, Cecilia Muñoz, and Lorenzo Gonzalez. The group’s efforts will be focused on voter education, emphasizing the importance of Latino participation in the election and the threats posed by the Trump administration’s policies.

Biden has personally endorsed the campaign, citing the group’s commitment to creating “a world where our country’s opportunities are shared by everyone.” The campaign plans on holding organizing efforts across the country, including in battleground states like Arizona, Florida and Texas.

Organizers for the campaign are focusing on mobilizing Latino voters on a large scale. They plan on using social media, digital advertising, mailers and TV ads to get their message out. They also intend to have Latino representatives visit church groups, neighborhood and community meetings, and other local settings to build connections with voters.

The campaign is just one of the many groups devoted to energizing Latino turnout for the election. Other organizations such as Latino Victory, Mi Familia Vota, and Voto Latino have also been working hard to encourage Corps-members of Latin descent to get to the polls.

This effort from Latino Vote for Biden, however, is a testament to the power of donors and the impact that large-scale campaigns can have on increasing voter participation. As the election draws closer and the stakes become higher, we expect the organization to become even more vocal in its outreach efforts.
