Barksdale is Drilling at Sunnyside
Barksdale Energy Corp. is thrilled to announce that it has commenced the drilling of multiple test wells at Sunnyside, a property located in Pima County, Arizona. This area is expected to have significant unintentional reserve potential and is estimated to produce one of the PDDs (Pistolesa de Desarrollo Dev)—a unique and new generation of oil and gas producing causeways.
Preliminary seismic studies conducted at Sunnyside suggest that the area may contain up to 5.4 million barrels of oil potential. Furthermore, additional testing indicates a possibility of natural gas reserves of over two trillion cubic feet.
Sunnyside is a standout oil and gas project because not only does it represent a new sub-basin development of the Arizona Rocky Mountains, it also serves as an opportunity to regenerate existing oil and gas infrastructure as well as create new wells. Drilling operations have already begun and are expected to take between eighteen to twenty-four months for successful completion.
The development of this project will pave the way for several quality job opportunities in the region. Not only will the project provide a number of jobs for local residents, but it is also expected to bring in additional revenue to the county in the form of royalty payments.
As the site selection process for developing Sunnyside gradually comes to an end, it will be exciting to witness the numerous benefits it will bring to the entire Pima County. It is also worth noting that Barksdale Energy Corp. plans on working with local authorities as well as the community to ensure a just and beneficial development process.
We look forward to this unique and revolutionary endeavor at Sunnyside. Barksdale Energy Corp. is confident that this project will help increase the overall economy of the region while also making sure that the environment is properly taken care of during the process.
