In an incredible turn of events, a British boy has been found after being missing for six years, reuniting him with his family on a wonderful Christmas Day.
This astonishing story begins with the disappearance of the twelve-year-old boy in November 2013, after which the police launched an inquiry, missing person posters were issued, and dedicated search teams roamed across the country, in search of him.
Six long years later and a British charity team found the boy in France living with a Gypsy group, on December 25th, 2019. As the charity team was unraveling a lead on yet another missing child, they came across the same name and noticed the similarities between him and the missing boy.
When the charity team contacted the boy from a distance and asked him to call his parents, he realized who they were and escaped back to England the same day. The charity team then contacted the authorities to confirm the details of the boy and his identity.
The family of the missing boy was both relieved and overjoyed to have him back after all these years, with his mother particularly ecstatic. The parents described this as a truly special Christmas with their entire family together.
Though the details of what really happened are still undisclosed, this story of redemption illustrates that even in practical hopeless scenarios, miracles can still happen.
We commend the charity team and everybody involved in aiding the boy’s safe return. We are grateful for the happy ending to this six-year wait and wish the family the best for the years to come.
