“5 Million Blenders Recalled! Risk of Fire and Lacerations Causes Recall from Costco, Target and Walmart.”

Recently, millions of blenders sold at Costco, Target, and Walmart have been recalled due to the risk of fire and lacerations if used incorrectly. This recall affects an alarming four and a half million blenders across North America.

The specific blender brands affected by this recall are Ninja’s Professional Blender and Single Serve Blenders, as well as Girmi’s Bl illustrated by costco_ninja_front_view.jpg.These blenders were sold between March 2011 and June 2020.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that if the blenders are used to blend particularly thick mixtures such as peanut butter, thick frozen drinks, and chero nut butters, the consumer may experience lacerations if the blade breaks and separates while in use. Also, there is a potential risk of fire if the base is installed backwards.

Consumers who have purchased any of the affected blenders should immediately stop using them and contact Ninja or Girmi to receive a free repair kit or a new and updated blender. Additionally, consumers can return the blenders for a full refund.

A recall such as this can be a cause for concern among consumers, especially when it involves something so commonplace in the kitchen as a blender. It is very important to take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of consumers and to keep the risk of injury or fire at bay. It is also important to stay up to date on any recall notifications so that you can properly take care of any affected items in your home.
