Disney’s ever-popular cruise line is about to get a thrilling addition with the announcement of their sixth ship, one packed with exciting visuals and plenty of onboard activities for the whole family.
The new ship, dubbed the Disney Wish, will be approximately a thousand feet long and will feature 1,250 guest staterooms. It is set to sail in summer of 2022 and will offer the same amenities as Disney’s other five existing cruise ships; a two-deck dining room, theater, spa, pool and fitness center.
What makes the Disney Wish extra intriguing is the focus on celebration, immersing its guests in a dazzling array of characters and stories. Enchanting projections will transport guests to different scenes aboard the ship, from Cinderella’s Castle to the realm of the Little Mermaid.
In addition, the Disney Wish will be offering some unique onboard attractions. A Frozen-themed restaurant aptly named “Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure” will offer a magical experience specifically for children. There will also be a Rapunzel-themed lounge where guests can check out the latest show tunes from Tangled: The Musical.
