“Greenlane Renewables Powers up Brazil with a $35.3 Million Supply Contract!”

Greenlane Renewables, a leading provider of biogas technologies, has announced that it has secured a $35.3 million system supply contract in Brazil. The project, which is being managed by the Brazilian government, is aimed at the development of biogas-to-power plants and is part of the country’s efforts to increase its renewable energy capacity.

The project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2021, will involve the construction of five 5MW power plants that will generate electricity through the production of biogas. The biogas will be created using a mixture of organic waste, such as agricultural waste and food waste, and sewage sludge.

The power plants will use Greenlane Renewables’ proprietary anaerobic digestion technology to convert these organic pollutants into electrical energy. This process involves the breaking down of organic matter in the absence of oxygen, which produces biogas, a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide.

The biogas will then be fed into a gas turbine or internal combustion engine to produce electricity, which will be fed into the Brazilian power grid. The projects will provide a significant boost to the country’s renewable energy capacity, as well as helping reduce pollution from organic waste.

Greenlane Renewables will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the five power plants throughout their lifetime. This will involve regular monitoring of the biogas production, as well as providing ancillary services such as equipment maintenance and cleaning.

The project is a testament to the growing interest in renewable energy in Brazil, and is expected to help the country meet its ambitious targets for energy production from renewable sources. It also highlights Greenlane Renewables’ expertise in delivering large-scale biogas projects.

The company has completed numerous projects around the world, ranging from anaerobic digestion systems for agricultural and food waste, to biomethane projects for the transportation sector. It is also a leader in the development of renewable natural gas (RNG) technologies for industrial and agricultural uses, and is currently expanding its presence in the Brazilian market.
