Siren Intersects Significant Mineralisation at Bonanza East
Siren Gold Limited has intersected significant mineralisation at Bonanza East Area in its latest drilling operations. Through its acquired Basin Creek Project situated in the Ironbark Province of the NT’s MacDonnell Ranges, Siren Gold is well positioned to unlock value with an aim to discover one of Australia’s largest gold deposits.
Drill holes CU2006 and CU2007 intersected approximately 1 metre at 22.2g/t Au and 20g/t Au respectively at depths between 58-59 metres. This high grade mineralisation has been found at the Bonanza East Area near a surface target zone over a strike length of 85 metres. Furthermore, polymetallic mineralisation comprising of silver, lead and zinc associated with sulphides and quartz veins has been intersected approximately 215 metres down dip from the gold zone.
The Chief Executive Officer of Siren Gold, Chris Torrey said that he is very pleased with the results from the newest drill holes intersecting significant mineralisation and hopes to see further success with upcoming drilling operations.
The Basin Creek Project is located in a region with a history of major gold production and is a highly prospective mineralised system. Siren Gold is focused on exploring the Bonanza East and the Crimson Rose Areas on the Project which have been identified as the most prospective targets.
Based on the drill results, the Extension Area has been upscaled where Siren Gold will now undertake a ground EM programme to explore the depth extensions of mineralisation in support of ongoing drilling operations.
Siren Gold’s exploration and drilling programmes at its flagship Basin Creek Project are making steady progress and more discoveries such as this can be expected to unlock value and could potentially lead to a discovery of one of Australia’s largest gold deposits.
